Anita Briem hails from Iceland. Her most well-known role is that of Jane Seymour , the young woman destined to become Queen Elizabeth III's third spouse Henry VIII in the series of television The Tudors and for her part in the role of Hannah in the movie Journey to the Center of the Earth ( 2008 ) . Briem was born in Iceland and began her journey into acting at the age of nine in Iceland's National Theater, is best recognized for her role as Jane Seymour. Briem was an actress in Iceland as a kid. In the year 16 Briem relocated to London to take part in an event for the theatre of the play Lenin in Love at The New End Theater. Briem was 19, and was accepted into the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London. She studied there over three years. Briem earned her degree in Drama and also won the John Barton Prize under the Scenic Fight category. Briem was a part of numerous plays during his time at RADA including The Cherry Garden directed by Anton Chekhov or Bernarda Alba's Ho
